See this bug? He was the ONLY creature available to hang out with last night!!! Can you believe that! I called lots of people, but everyone was either busy with studying for finals, working, doing the family home evening thing with their kids or busy with something else. So guess who I hung out with.
Bart. My boxelder bug. Yep I named it Bart. (heh heh heh! I am evil... but he deserves to have a BUG named after him)
Um I think Bart either escaped or is dead today. I can't find him in my room anymore. Can you tell that I don't know what to do with myself with all this time on my hands?!
Lol. Actually, I should be working on a drawing for an assignment I have due before I leave to Switzerland... Just can't get in the mood to do it. I am dying to go out and be with people... But all my people are busy right now! ARRRGGG!!! I am going to go see if I can find some ducks to bother in the canal. (by bother, I mean to feed bread to them.)
I hope everyone is having a fabulous spring day! It is so NICE outside!!!

Me and a Duck
Baby Animal Day was fun. As you can see, I got to hold a cute little duckling. (this is my favorite part of the event). This year's ducklings were a little older than last year, but just as darling. My niece, Brooklyn, kept reaching out to the little animals and got very upset when she was not allowed to hold them. The problem for Brooke is that she likes to put things in her mouth when she holds them. lol. But she did get to touch plenty of ponies and goats and other large animals that would not suffer too much from her slobber.
Well, I just got great news from my academic adviser. We are still on target for graduation in May of 2009!!! Yes. That is correct. Only a little over a year away! Hopefully by then I can learn to recognize a sympathetic font when I see one.
Oye! Today, when I brought in what I thought was a more sympathetic font, I was told it was too "wimpy." Sigh.
OK. I best quit procrastinating. Back to work!!!

A more "sympathetic" font
One of these days I'm going to be an expert. Yep. One of these days. Until then, What the HECK is a sympathetic font???? lol! That was the verdict on my latest design project for school. Among other things that need to be changed, I need a more "Sympathetic" font.
The man is right. sigh... So if I can see that he's right, how come I can't find a font that is both empowering and sympathetic at the same time? This is the question. Pretty sure I need a mentor. For some reason, the teachers up here don't give enough suggestions. One of them says it'll stunt my creativity *rolling my eyes* and the others just don't seem to care. I think they like to see me squirm. Just like a worm.
Ha ha ha.
Well today is "Baby Animal Day" at the old historic farm (who's name escapes me at the moment). SO after my English class and several sentence conjegations, I will be holding soft baby ducks and chickens and rabbits and little quarter-sized turtles and being so girly that most men would puke to see it!!!
I am SO EXCITED!!! Yea!!! I love baby animal day! I am SUCH a girl!
Love you all!

Fish and Forebearers
Hi. I'm in a good mood at last.
This weekend I went down to Heber City to check out the place that my 4x great grandfather used to live and work and all that fun stuff. It was great. I am amazed at how much Heber City has grown in the past 4 years! I am so sad that I didn't have enough money several years back and could have purchased some land up there. It is now one of the most expensive places in Utah to get real estate. It is SO beautiful and I feel a strong tie to that place considering that's where GGGG grandpa Lindsay was. If I had the money, I'd buy up a bunch of the land down there to preserve it from overdevelopment. But I don't.
I went and found their graves. They are in the oldest part of the cemetary. Right in the middle by the big trees. I love my family history. I don't know why I feel a stronger tie to the Lindsay line in specific over the others, but I do.
Anyway, I better get back to work with my school assignments. I have a lot to get done before the week is over.

Can School Be Done now... Please?
Oye! I am tired of school today. My teachers shot down my magazine layout idea. Then it took forever to get another project done. I worked SO hard on it and I still didn't have it done by the time class started. I was a full hour late to class!!! Just frustrating.
Sheesh! All I've done is complain in the last little while! Sorry.
I can't sleep right now and it's driving me insane. I'm going to go try again. :)
Goodnight from wonderland.
