Spring Break

Oh Helwowe...
Lol. I am on my spring break and I only have one more day until I go under the knife. So guess what I was SUPPOSED to be doing today... That's right, I was supposed to be getting my midterm presentation ready because it is due as soon as I get back to school and I probably won't be able to do much after surgery. Do you think I did anything today? NOOoooooOO!

Oh well. Not much else to talk about. I am really nervous about this surgery. I don't know why. I don't usually get real nervous with medical stuff, but for some reason I am about this. Anyway, I'll be at my mom's on Wednesday night.

Okay, I am really going to do some homework!

Rockstar

I got all depressed today. You know how it goes. I sat around my house way too long feeling all picked on and junk. A big shout out to Andrea and Erika for coming and pulling me out of my little tantrum! Thank you!

We went and saw that new movie "confessions of a shopaholic." It was cute. I like that actress. She's very pretty. The only thing I have found I don't really like about shows like this one is it makes women look so stupid - like we have no brains. But that's getting too serious. Its just a movie.

Anyway, the ducks were in the parking lot today and how bad can a day be when ducks are involved? Thats what I said to myself. :) I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow.

Spring Break

Okay the final run down for spring break is that I am going to have surgery on Wednesday to get the gal bladder out. It'll take 4 or 5 days to recover from that then the next week I'll be having the cancer cells frozen off on Thursday. SO if anyone wants to see me LOOPY on drugs, there's your time frame.

Disappointing news

So with all this medical hoo haw that has been going on I've been feeling kinda ... BLEH! Today I got a call from the nurse at the Women's Center part of Logan Regional Hospital. They found some more cancer cells.

So spring break looks rather eventful. I'll be getting my gal bladder out and freezing some little cancer cells off. I guess the cancer removal wont actually take place until the week after Spring Break, but still. From the way the doctors talked about it, neither condition seems life threatening.

The cancer was caught so early that this'll probably be the only thing I'll need to have done for it... I hope I hope! But it is just a rather lame spring break if you ask me. That and I need all this time to finish my schoolwork in time for graduation. I think I'll be okay. I hope so.

The Ducks are BACK!!!

Last week was kinda crummy. I was all sick and ornery and totally fell behind in work and school. I am really still hurting a lot but I don't really have time for this sickness, so I'm trying to work/do school through the pain.

It might have been kind of a red-necked thing to do, but I want to be sure that the doctors catch my pain episode in the act, so tonight my roommate and I went and ate really fatty foods to try to trigger it. Perhaps that is what did it last time. Anyway, I suppose we'll see if I am in agony before morning strikes.


And look who came back!!! Finally! They were gone for a long time! But these are my three ducks that I adopted last spring! Aren't they pretty! The grey one I think is a girl and she carries around 2 mallards. The one that's closest to the camera is a pretty normal looking mallard, but the one down by the water is sort of brown and white with that mallard collar and green head.

I took one of Kaylee's blueberry bagels out there and fed it to them. Sorry, Kaylee! I owe you!!!

Anyway, to have my ducks finally come home was such a bright spot on my day! I just may have to box them up and take them to SLC with me when I move. lol. I kind of doubt that anyone will be happy about that besides me... including the ducks! hee hee.

Okay, well hopefully I'll have good news after tomorrow's test doo-hickey-thing. I'll keep you informed.

New Post

Hi.
I haven't posted in a day or two and I think it's time to get that hospital picture moved down just a bit. My stomach has been hurting again. Yesterday was pretty bad, but not like last week! My back hurts really bad when these attacks come on. It's strange. Anyway, I will find out for sure about the gal stones on Wednesday with the lovely ultrasound.

I keep missing church. This is the 4th week that I have had some thing or other cause me to sleep through it. Its really annoying. I'm going to go to a later ward today and hope to get some spiritual sustenance. I do feel rather spiritually emaciated (thank you Animal Planet for the lovely vocabulary word!). Anyhow, its strange I feel very alien there at church. But I best be headed over there before I change my mind. :)

Little trip to the hospital

So Saturday I was having all sorts of amazing and deep pain in my tummy. I didn't want to miss my date so I ignored it until after that.... but around midnight it was too much and I had to go to the hospital. After 4 hours and a barrage of tests, it would appear I need my gal bladder removed. Have to do that soon. As you can see, my lovely roommate Ashley was so kind as to come and keep me company. Then Kaylee and her date showed up and even Seth and KJ. All sorts of exciting.

Pretty sure my doctor could be a model.

Anyway, I'm feeling okay right now I just hope it stays that way till I can have the surgery.

So here's a picture of my newly re-reddened hair. I think it's a little darker than I intended, but It's still pretty. I like it. I'll keep it for a while. :D What do you think?

Sleepless in Logan

My coworker and I were having a little fun on Friday. lol.

Hi. I'm not sleeping and I wish I were. It is 2 in the morning. My circadium rhythm must be off. I've had a devil of a time trying to sleep at night and not during the day. Looks like tonight will be no different.

Went to the hair salon today and had them put a new color in. It's darker than I wanted, but I think it's still cute. I don't have a picture yet, but I'll post one sooner or later.

I've got less than 3 months left of college and I don't know if I can make it! I just want to be finished! My boss said she wished I were staying and that she'd love to keep me as a work-study student. I was way flattered. I felt like she really meant it. The only problem is that they can't pay me enough even to pay my rent once I graduate. But I sure hope I can find a job like that one in SLC. The economic forecast has me a bit worried still.

I have REALLY wanted to go home to my parent's house this weekend. I've refrained in order to save gas money. But I really wish I were there tonight. My roommate has a few friends over and even though they're all nice people, I am in a reclusive mood and don't want to be around people I don't know too well. They keep asking me to come hang out with them and I just don't want to tonight.

Here we go kids! This will be fun!

I am losing it! I have senoritus like a crazy person!! I am sick of homework! I love my job and I wish that I did that all day and then could just go home and be ALL done for the night! Do you not LOVE this picture! I found it online.

Not much else is going on. I have no fun dates planned yet for this weekend. And I'm avoiding my homework like the plague so life is going going going nice and slow. I have to pee but I don't want to go upstairs!
