Hi friends! I haven't heard from you in a while. I've been thinking about you though. I'm getting all geared up to plan a wedding. So save August 27th for me if you will! Also, please send me tips and things you wish you'd known while planning a wedding or wish you'd done differently. I thought I'd know, after having seen so many friends get married... but I'm afraid I'm clueless.
I have to go to bed. Spending all my time with Greg... you know how it goes! Please respond! I miss you all!

My advice? It doesn't matter how much money you spend or what flowers you choose... the important part is getting hitched and starting your life together! Spend money on the dress, and go cheap on everything else. Save your money for your married life! :o)
Hooboy, that sounds remarkably cheesy -- but in my experience that is what I wish I'd done!
Sorry Heidi, I am a bit of a slacker. I love the picture of you two. You look very cute together. I went pretty cheap on everything and I am glad I did. We wanted to spend a little extra on the honeymoon. I am so excited for you Heidi. I hope all is going good. Keep in touch.
Thanks SO MUCH for the picture! He's a keeper, for sure! And I love that you share the same birthday. That will be so much fun through the years. What a very happy and exciting time. I'll be honest, though, Cory and I fought a little more during our engagement than I'd like to admit. Looking back, I realize that being engaged really was stressful, to say the least. Maybe you won't think so, but if it turns out to be a difficult time, you're probably normal!! It IS fun, though, to plan and anticipate and all that. If I could change anything, I think I'd spend much less on the wedding dress. I only wore mine once and then sold it on EBay. (Boo hoo!) I needed the money for shcool, though. I had a simple, but elegant reception and we pulled it off for about $1500. I wish I had done a fun dance or something, though. I also wish I had chosen a cuter wedding annoucement to send to people. But, no matter how you do things, Heidi, you will never forget your special and happy day and you really won't wish to go back and change anything (no matter how silly things can look to you seven or eight years later...) Happy planning!
