And NO... it isn't the soda! ;) I'm tired of being stressed out. I feel like being silly.
Tuesday is the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) show if you want to come it is in the art building between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. I'd love to see you there. Yes, I mean YOU! So call me if you have questions.
Saturday is the graduation ceremony. It starts at 9 in the spectrum. There are not tickets it's first come first served seating. You are welcome to come to that as well.
The family is having dinner that night. If you want to come you're invited, but I guess we're all paying for ourselves. :)

I'm Online!!!
Hi Everyone! I got my website up online. It is very simple right now in order to show off the work. I had so much fun doing it that I think that I'll play with it some more after graduation and make a second or third version. Until then, have a look at what I've got so far at www.hlindsay.com

This just proves I'm strange
So today as I was walking across campus dodging mutilated worms on the sidewalk and this thought popped into my head;
"Would I even recognize a worm heart if I saw one?" lol.
I suppose I should explain...
I was having a random conversation recently about cutting worms in half and why both ends still live when you do it. We were talking about how worms have a heart in both sides of their body and they can reproduce the rest of their body.
Ha ha. I got curious about that, so today I took a short break from homework and looked up what ACTUALLY happens to a worm when you cut it in half. Really only one side lives... That's the side with the hearts. (They have 5).
Anyway, the tail moves away because this is an evolutionary defense mechanism to get predators to hopefully eat the tail instead of the head.
The worm can re-grow a tail.
All this time I thought that both sides went on living. Now I feel educated! This is going to change my day to day life. The world is going to be different now. ;)
Just kidding. Okay, well I suppose I don't have an excuse to be playing around right now... I better get back to work on my school projects.

Let the madness begin...
"Ladies and Gentlemen.... Lets get ready to RRRRRRRuuuuMMMBBBBLLLEEE!!!!" (insert jazzy music)
I have not done homework this weekend as I planned on doing. SO we officially have only 18 days left until graduation, 10 days until my website has to be done and look amazing, and 16 days until the FINAL show that determines whether these past 4 years have made anything of me at all.
AYEEEE!!!! Don't let the serene photo above fool you. Look at the eyes. They're screaming for an escape!!!
I bribed the portfolio teacher with brownies... told him he doesn't want to see me again next semester. Pretty sure he's in the bag... Now for the BFA teacher... What what can we do to win him over???

Walking Alone
I really liked Elder Holland's talk this morning. He spoke about the Savior and how alone he really was during his ministry and all the trials that he went through and all the times he had to do it alone.
I feel alone frequently. I try to keep in mind that my experiences are not unique to me. I hope I can remember that Jesus knows what I'm feeling more often. I liked so much of conference this time around. :)
That's all I can think of to say at the moment.

AIGA show
Well I worked REALLY hard to get everything ready in time for the AIGA show on Friday. For those who don't know its a group of professional graphic designers. I sat with a bunch of members of my classes. None of us really got shining reviews. At least not on my table. The critiques were kind of hard to take.
I thought that was interesting as I am very used to critique. I think what I didn't like was that a few of the professionals didn't tell me WHY it was not designed well, they just told me I am not a good designer. All in all, I think it was worth while to go down. If for nothing else, I got a reality check that the real world sucks just as bad as school does. SO I'm going to have to get a job where no graphic designer has ever been before and then the employer will think I am amazing.
Either that or I'm going to have to learn more code and just become a web coder. I think they earn more anyway.
Anyway the parents have gone to bed and seeing as I am at their house... Its super quiet and dark now and I'm getting sleepy. Talk to you all later.
