First day of school

Today was my first day of school. I love school. But now I need to go to bed. I'll write again later.

Terrorist Attacks

I'm watching a show on the discovery channel about the people on Flight 93. My heart hurts for the people and the events that happened that day. What very brave people the passengers of that plane were. It makes me cry when I think about it.

Ready... Set... GO!!!

Well I am now employed. Yea! That will make my financial burden just a bit less stressful. I got a job on campus doing work study. Basically I'll be running errands, making forms, and brochures. All kinds of fun stuff.

I will be helping to hang up the art show tomorrow. It runs until the 13th of September in the Tippits gallery in case any of you wish to come and see it. hint hint. :D

So, yes- I am going to be a very busy girl this semester. I hope that's a good thing. We'll see. I think for now I am going to take my final day of relaxing to go and read my book. Talk to you all again soon.

Old Navy

Today I was with my nephews at Old Navy clothing store. It was so funny. Without any warning they just started running up to the models and taking their hands and pretending to walk with them.

3 of my 4 roommates thus far are under the age of 20. Not so awesome. I like one of them. The other two are goofy as all get out, but we'll see if they grow on me. Currently I had to escape to my room because I was getting irritated with them. At least they provide entertainment for each other. May of 2009 CAN NOT come soon enough.

Peej says I have to stay here in Logan after I graduate so that I can wait for him to graduate. After the past hour spent here with the 18 year olds, I'm pretty sure I'd kill myself first. But we'll see. It all depends on the job situation and relationship situation. I really like PJ. I'm not falling for him as fast as I have fallen for other guys though... so I'm waiting to see what happens.

I can't wait for school to start. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to lounge around all day... but after a month or two of it... I'm ready for a productive life again! I applied for 3 jobs yesterday and I'll apply for 8 more tomorrow hopefully. So I intend to be super busy this semester. I think it'll be good for me.

I'm in a menstration-induced bad mood. It is your typical, hormonal, non-logical, angry at self and taking it out on the world kind of mood. I'm mad at what I have become. I'm mad at what I haven't become. I'm mad about my weight, I'm mad about my laundry. I'm just mad. It's so stupid. And at the same time I feel like crying, but all my tears are stuck because of the anger. Hmmmm....

Hormones are great aren't they. Usually I don't get quite this bad. I'm in such a rotten place. I think I'll go to bed and hope it goes away in my sleep. I'm not the only one who has days like this right?

The kids rode this little train ride at the Raspberry Days Fair. As you can see, I was not quick enough with the camera to actually get a photo of the children's faces. lol.

Buddy is terribly difficult to get good pictures of. He's always on the move. This one I caught just in time before he bit my camera lens and slimed it with his wet nose!!! He is such a soft and cute little dog though, so how could anyone stay mad at him for sliming their camera?

We had a terrific weekend. I love how Bear Lake's beaches have a whole lot of shallow areas for the munchkins to play in. I got Erika to come out with me where the water was up to my shoulders and we played in the waves that the boats and ski-doos were making. We didn't see any fish (which was one of our goals) but we giggled a lot and had tons of fun.

In other news, I have 2 new roommates. I've only met one of them. Her name is Monica and she's a freshman going into Graphic Design. I like her so far. I think she'll be a nice roommate. I hope I'll be able to say the same for the others.

Art Exhibition

So my photos will be in the art exhibition from August 25th to September 13th! Yea! Sometimes people will buy prints from these exhibitions, but I doubt it in this one. I think I'll enter a couple of these into the State and County fairs and see what they do.

Well PJ has been super attentive. I still like him. Funny thing, I actually feel slightly overwhelmed by it all. I told him he needs to slow down just a bit because he is scaring me! For those who asked, He's 30 years old. 6 feet tall with medium brown hair and blue eyes and super long eyelashes. He's working on a Business degree at USU.

Anyway, I am going to be with my family this weekend at the lake. I am super excited. I haven't been up there in years! I love hangin out with the fam too. I'll try to get some good photos to post up here. Until then, I am afraid words must suffice. :D

But because posting with a photo is fun, I have uploaded one or two that I took from my cousin's wedding a few weeks back. Love ya!

Rather unexpected chain of events...

Well, I went out with PJ. I like him a lot. We've been out on dates every day for the past 3 days now! Wow! That's what I call a marathon date. As a result, I am even more sleep deprived than I normally am. So I am telling you now... Whatever I say in this post is influenced heavily by sleep deprivation. :) .......

Der... uh... Hi

Well nothing too exciting is going on but I probably should blog a little so y'all won't forget about me. :D jk.
So here's another FABULOUS Swiss Heidi photo. I like this cow. I think I'll call her Bessie. Why is Bessie SUCH a good cow name? Anyway, here she is.

I turned in my application for graduation to the Dean's office today. YEA! It's really going to happen! Granted... not for 10 more months, but still!!! I am excited. It's been hard, but so worth it.
Maytag canceled his visit to Logan yet again, so I'll probably go out with PJ. He's new. Haven't met him in person before, but he seems nice so we'll see. (They all seem nice at first dont they! Then after they've got their hooks in you they start canceling dates every time you plan one out! GRRRR!!! ;) kidding... okay... only kind of kidding. :D)
