2 pounds!

So after a terribly depressing and stressful week I went to Weight Watchers today expecting to have gained a few pounds (due to bad eating) and to my great surprise, I lost 2 pounds!!! Yes!

That brightened my day today along with the sunshine that was so abundant today! Happiness all around!

First of all, I have to apologize for being so terribly stuck in my own world of frustrations lately! I've been so self-centered and I feel out of touch with all of my friends! So, I decided I'd catch up a little on things. I am SO PROUD of you for joining Weight Watchers! I had a cousin join after having two kids and she looks FABULOUS still today-- and it was a few years ago. I have contemplated joining, myself, but it's a money thing. I wish I could do it with you, though (after the baby comes, of course!) So-- that was a long way of saying congrats on losing some weight! Way to go, girl!

Also, it's exciting that you've begun your "final decent" of your college career. So has Cory! I still think the semester is going to stink, though. Aren't I optimistic?!

I'm way sorry to hear you've been so depressed lately. Cory says that I am "solar powered"-- so I understand about seasonal depression, although I only experience it very mildly. I wish there was something--anything I could do to help lift you out. Hopefully school will distract you and help keep you nice and busy. And hopefully going to the gym and stuff will help, too. I know that exercise is GREAT for depression. But you know all that. I just want to offer my empathy and tell you that I love you and to hang in there! Spring WILL come (as will graduation... yeah!) Thanks for all of your encouraging comments on my sob-story blog! I love you, Heidi!

Congrats. I am so excited for you. I need to start shedding some weight. It is hard especially during the depressing winter months with all the warm comfort foods. Anyways good job.
